Summer Ends and Fall Planting Begins
Planting mums in September will greatly increase the chances of them coming back next year.
After a hot dry summer, it's important to water. Especially if you plan to add plants to your landscape.
Watering is best done in early morning hours. If that's not possible, water in the evening but avoid getting foliage wet as this will increase the chances of fungal diseases.
